This note describes how the CSV to JSON converter handles the content you enter and the results you take.
Your CSV and JSON
CSV files and pasted text are converted in your browser. The converter does not upload your CSV, JSON output or file name. It does not use cookies or persistent browser storage to save that content.
Copy, download and clear
Copy JSON writes the result to your clipboard. Download JSON creates a file through your browser. Clear input removes the input and output displayed by the converter; it does not erase text already copied or files already downloaded. Your browser and device control those copies.
Usage counts
Conversion, export and error counts stay in the page's memory. They do not include CSV content, JSON results or file names, and the converter does not send them to an analytics service.
Webpage delivery and security
Opening this site sends webpage requests to the hosting service. Hosting and security services may process information associated with those requests to deliver and protect the page. This is separate from the converter's local handling of CSV and JSON. The hosting platform's use of security cookies or request records is outside the scope of this description.
